Cold Weapons from Collections of Vršac City Museum and Banat Museum from Timisoara

The exhibition titled Cold Weapons from Collections of Vršac City Museum and Banat Museum from Timisoara was organised as part of the reconstruction project of the Konkordija building and establishing the Regional Centre for Protection of Banat Cultural Heritage.

The authors of the exhibition are Mr Dragutin Petrović, City Museum Consultant and Curator, and Mr Zoran Markov, Banat Museum Curator. The first version of the exhibition was opened on 31^st July 2012. On the same day, the Final Conference was held upon the completion of the project.

The official promotion of the exhibition and the reconstructed Konkordija building was held on 29^th October 2012. The event was attended by a number of dignitaries and other visitors. A catalogue in the English language accompanied the exhibition.

After the return of the exhibits belonging to the Banat Museum to Timisoara on 2^nd November, the exhibition was recomposed, presenting only the exhibits belonging to the Vršac City Museum collections. By the end of 2012, the exhibition was seen by 2,330 visitors.
